So I have fallen behind a little in with the blog posts so I am combining weeks 15 through 17 here to catch up. So week 15 we celebrated Easter, while week 16 was a crazy whirlwind weekend of Matt's Fly Fishing Film Tour down in Reno and week 17 Matt and I were blessed with a gift of a brand new car! A Honda Pilot that has 4-wheel drive! That is huge for me to finally have a car that was made to drive in the snow! :) Each week has been perfect with only a little sleepiness through some of the days.
The baby here is roughly the size of an orange, weight about 2.5 oz and is 4 inches long. His or her joint can move around now and baby is apparently squirming all over in there, but too early for me to feel anything yet.
This week the baby is the size of an Avocado, weight about 3.5 ounces and is 4.6 inches long about. Baby can now hear my voice, is growing hair lashes and eyebrows and is forming taste buds. This baby has a lot going on in just one week!
And finally, this week, baby Heron is the size of an onion, is about 5.1 inches long and weights a whopping 5.9 ounces! That is quit a growth spurt from last week. His or her rubbery cartilage is now turning to bone, she is getting meat on those little bones and growing a stronger & thicker umbilical cord.
More coming soon!
